Owners
Paul Thomas grew up in a transport business on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, where he worked for H.E. Thomas Transport for eight years in refrigeration, general and heavy haulage. Paul then headed to Western Australia, where he worked for Pacific Transport driving road trains up and down the West Coast for three years.
During this time Paul gained an extensive knowledge of both the practical and managerial side of the transport industry. Paul to this day remains hands-on in the day to day operations of Magnetic Island Transport with his wife Amber. Amber, a qualified teacher, is involved in the accounting and human resources side of the business. If you're calling head office, you'll most likely be speaking with our lovely office ladies Heather or Mel. |
